Finding Rest in the Busy Season

I don’t function at optimum efficiency when I am overwhelmed, stressed, and over tired. It’s just how I function. And I could probably bet that you’re the same way. Humans are invincible, even though we seem to think we are. We need time to rest, reset, and rejuvenate our bodies.

When we try to work from a place of fatigue or exhaustion, we don’t produce our best work and we might even snap at our loved ones (#guilty).

Networking in the Creative Industry

My first job out of college and my last job before I started my own was at the local Chamber of Commerce. In short, the Chamber of Commerce is a local organization that exists to promote and advocate for the interests of local businesses. However, my title and duties didn’t include a lot of work with actual business owners or business promotion. I was more on the backend of things, make sure the tedious tasks were completed. Four Tips for Creating A Gallery Wall

One of my favorite things to do right after moving into a new space was design and hang the gallery wall. We typically would have one gallery wall in the biggest living room space and then also have one in our bedroom. Shortly before we bought our house we lived in an apartment for 8 months, where I had an office. So, I was also able to create a gallery wall of quotes in my office.

Every single time I post a picture of any of our gallery walls, I get an influx of questions about how to do it and questions about where I get my frames and prints.

Mompreneur Routine: A Day In The Life

I love routine. I thrive with routine and organization and plans. When I know what to expect, I can be more relaxed and peaceful. But, in all seriousness, I feel like this needs to be talked about.
