Itβs probably no surprise to you that social media can be extremely detrimental to our mental and emotional health. In the last 6-10 months, Iβve noticed some frightening truths about my personal relationship with social media and how itβs affecting my life, emotions, and mental health. While Iβd love to be able to say that Iβm not affected by it, I canβt. Itβs been eye-opening to see the effects and as the year closes in, I am even more determined to get a handle on it and figure out how to use it in a healthy way. These realizations have been humbling and caused me to really take a moment to look at my actions and how I use social media.
