Is Your Brand Telling A Good Story | Guest Blog Post

Today's post is a guest blog post written by Nicole Andreini of Nicole & Co.

Brands are the stories people tell about your business.Without stories, we would not be able to comprehend the value of something. Stories create experiences that one would not have had otherwise. The story your customers tell their friends about your business is first initiated by the brand they encounter.

Everything You Need to Start an Online Shop

When I first opened my product shop I had no idea what I was doing. I had no idea how to get started with shipping, where to buy shipping materials, how to set up my shop, how to write the listings, etc. etc. I felt lost in a sea of kick booty Etsy shop owners destined to drown. That’s why I didn’t touch my Etsy shop for about a year after I created it.

How to Use Instagram Stories to Grow Your Business

As time goes on and things change (who am I? I sound like a 90-year-old Nana), we--as business owners--have to learn to adapt and change. Instagram used to be SO easy to use to find ideal clients and customers. There was some strategy needed to grow a successful account, but it was a lot easier to be "successful" on Instagram than it is today.

How To Overcome Unexpected Life Circumstances in Business

Three years ago I was just starting my business up. I had recently quit my job and the reason for doing this was because I wanted to start a business. I could tell by the look in my employers eyes that it was a risky (yet, bold!) move. I’m sure they thought I was naive. Well, I was. Round up of FREE Business Resources

This past year, I really focused on regular blogging. It was one of my goals and for the most part, I consistently blogged twice a week. For me, that’s a huge undertaking! My blog posts aren’t about weekend recaps or what leggings I like to wear (come to think of it--maybe I SHOULD switch to a mom blog...jkjk), so the content can often take more time for me. That’s not to say the aforementioned content isn’t hard; I know it would personally be easier for me to blog daily about my life versus business education. Ya feel me?

Four Ways to Prepare For a Productive Week On Sunday

I am a big fan of efficiency. I think through every decision when it comes to finding the most efficient route or way of doing something. Sometimes when we are driving somewhere and my husband takes a different route than expected, I get frustrated. I have already thought through the different scenarios and have found the most efficient way of driving, so it doesn’t make sense to go a different way! The good thing about marriage is that it makes you a better person and helps you let go of your controlling ways, amiright?!

2018 Goals

I love setting goals. I am a task-oriented person, so my sense of accomplishment often comes from checking things off a to-do list and being productive. This is great for being motivated, but it’s not so great when you have a newborn and all you wanna do is get things done when what you really should be doing is snuggling that babe. I’ve learned a lot in the last couple of months about letting go of being productive for the sake of feeling accomplished. Sometimes the most productive thing I can do is love on my sweet little one. Hold up, that was a major bunny trail.

In fact, at first it was paralyzing.
